After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with major focuses in Economics/Business Administration from Hanover College in 1988, he began and has enjoyed his entire career in the insurance industry.
With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jerry has spent the past decade helping to build Senior Market Team as a leader in the Medicare marketplace. His goal is to offer practical and viable solutions to his clients and agent partners.
He works with a goal of every agent matters, every question matters and attention to detail is imperative.
In his spare time, Jerry enjoys time with his family, playing golf and community service.
Derek is one of the founding Partners at Senior Market Team. He focuses his time on recruiting,
developing, and supporting agents in establishing and implementing a plan to grow their
business. Derek is a second-generation benefits and Medicare expert. He joined his father in
1996, working as a group specialist. His background in employee benefits, key executive insurance and Medicare has given him a unique perspective, allowing him to provide real-life advisory experiences to help recruit and train Senior Market Team's insurance brokers.
He doesn't just talk-the-talk, he walks-the-walk and consistently acts with the overall vision of Senior Market Team in mind, which is "Making it Easier for Every Agent."
In his spare time, Derek enjoys spending time with his wife, Carrie, and his three children. Derek is a devout Bengals fan, experienced with a meat smoker and an enthusiast for the national parks and anything outdoors.
Lauren has been in the insurance industry since 2013 and joined Senior Market Team in 2022. With a background in compliance, her focus and expertise are agent training, marketing and business development. She works with our agents on an individual basis to ensure that they are developing a plan to help meet their goals, while also spearheading numerous group training opportunities throughout the year, including New Agent Onboarding, Technology Trainings, How to Run An Appointment and Business Development & Marketing. Lauren is passionate about helping our agents succeed with ensuring that they have all the proper tools and resources available.
Alongside training, she also plays an active role in planning Senior Market Team’s networking, educational and rollout events. Lauren is a member of the NKY-SHRM chapter and the Northern Kentucky Chamber Women's Initiative – Engagement Committee. Continuously telling people what we do and how we help, she focuses on building our brand throughout the communities.
She received her undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University and her Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She recently received her MBA from the University of Cincinnati. Lauren and her husband, Mitchell, have two children, Sylvia and Violet.
Originally from Lancashire, England, Sarah never imagined she would be in the health insurance industry. However, Sarah has specialized and become an expert in this field over the past 20 years. Having built a deep understanding of the industry and client’s needs, she is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations and contracting for our Medicare agents. From the initial contracting request to future state appointments and additional carriers, Sarah is there to help our agents each step of the way. Living in NKY with her husband, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
